Saturday

Post by scottman »

It's starting to look good for Saturday!! Anyone going to be out and about? I'm thinking of trying that Coborns place for some terrain, anyone know the conditions out there? Diamond Lake or Lake George or Coon Lake or Lake Netta or mabe even Ham Lake or Forrest Lake might be good too?

The north end of Turtle Lake should be totally ride-able tomorrow. Also, there are basically ZERO ice houses on that end.

Yeah pretty good powder out at Coborns through out. I was out there on Monday at the tail end of the storm. I would still recommend a board you don't care about because when you climb some of the mounds you may hit some small rocks. Super fun and there are some small bowls to ride down into where you run over some weeds although you don't even know they are there I still wouldn't recommend a board you care about. I drove by there looks like some more drifts have formed on some of the ledges. I am down for hitting it up any time in the morning give me a call 407 five seven nine fortyseven fifty, Paul

NW works great on Turtle Lake (South end), but there's more room on WBL, and on Monday there was pretty good snow conditions out there too, about halfway between Mahtomedi and Bellaire. I'll be hitting Mahtomedi tomorrow as well, around noonish the wind forecast is looking nice!

Im going to head up to pleasant with yall as well. I was up giving my son his bottle at 5 am and the wind hit like a train. gonna sneak out shortly and make my way up there. Looks like the wind is a little higher then was forecasted.

edit: looks like Im just going to swede, according to the wife I only have a few hours to go lol. Better not waste 3/4 of my time driving and go somewhere closer.
