Gloves & Balaclava?

Post by Travii »

Any recommendations for gloves and balaclavas that are warm and yet reasonably priced? The balaclava needs to fit under my helmet. I picked up a turtle fur one from REI but realized it is too small for my head. One size fits all.... riight. Also, the seam around my face was way to harsh. Ideas?

I have an underarmor one that works pretty well. It isn't thick but works pretty well. Ashleigh has a thicker one from another brand that works too. I have tried em both and they will fit under my helmet.

Go to any bike store (Erik's, The Alt, Etc) and you can get balaclava's designed to go under helmets. I use a Seirus L/XL size and it works like a charm, not too tight but it does fit snug. You could also pick one up at any outdoor store like REI, Joe's Ski Shop, etc. I wear mine under a helmet and it fits fine.

FLEET FARM also carries the Serius line at bargain prices. They also claim to have the ultimate thin, but warm glove introduced this year... don't know who has them though.
