Barbados pics from Sergio

Post by RobH »

Still dreaming about the waves, water, and warmth of Barbados, our Itialian friends that we shared the beach with posted a few shots on kiteforum that I wanted to share here as Sergio was able to capture the waves from the camera that was attached to the center batton on his kite.

We are hoping to run a trip to Barbados next January or Feb, If you have any interest in going to Barbados, kiting some nice waves and let me know as we have a great deal on a house with 5 apartments located just off the beach.

Knock it off, Don't you realise that it's below zero and we have to work

That might be a way for me to get my Vit. D up. Keep me in the loop.

See you at Steamboat????
ENJOY :) ........... Bill

I've thought about Barbados. Your photos make it look like I should stop thinking and get going.
How is it for beginners, though? Would it be a good place to take newbies (kids)?
How about windsurfing. My wife wants to learn - would Barbados be a good place to do that?

Barbados isnt a good beginer spot - no flat water anywhere and small beach - they do allot of teaching there but it looks painfull as they can only go downwind a couple hundread yards and then walk back upwind on the beach. It seems to be a popular spot for windsurfers and kiters alike, there are two rental shops with Brian Talma and club Mistral.

Cant wait to get back for some more Barbados
