Hey Ladies...
I am running three series of All-Women kiteboarding camps in La Ventana, Baja, this February and March. The first series filled, so we added one more week.
These women's camps have been pretty popular in Baja and Texas, leading me to wonder if there is some interest in doing a women's camp somewhere in the Great Lakes region? Where would be the choice location for a kiteboarding camp? I know it's a broad question, but I'd love some input. I'd really like to hook up with a local school/dealer to conduct the camps as well. Any suggestions, interest and input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Women's Kiteboarding Camps
Tonia, I applaud your efforts. We enjoy having women join in our favorite leisure activity. I know there was a pretty good turn-out for a women's winter snow kite clinic last year. Our state boasts a multitude of good kiting venues during the warmer months, too. I wish you great sucess in recruiting more females to ride with us! I might also recommend posting on the MNAdventure site to generate some interest there as well. Good Luck! Jim N.

Re: Women's Kiteboarding Camps
Tonia,
My sister Leah is signed up for one of your camps in Baja this spring - She's really, really excited. I can't wait to hear how it goes.
My suggestion would be hosting a clinic on Lake Mille Lacs, in conjunction with Midwest Mountaineering in Minneapolis.
Best of luck with finding a spot to teach in middle America...
