Looking good

Post by Tighe »

Looks like a big fat Low is passing over us today. As it does we'll get light southerlys on front side then the backside looks to bring on quite a punch from the NW. Even though tomorrow looks like the biggest wind, as the front passes over us there looks like some decent NWesters almost immediately. The Experimental has the line coming through around 4p today. It might be dramatic as it most likely will be throwing up most of this light loose snow.

Katie and I will be at Mahtomedi by mid afternoon.

Eric yuour not joking, I was out in the field rigging up and it was almost calm. Then out of nowhere it starts blowing like no tommorow. DaveC and I caught a short session, he was on a 13 and I was on a 9. The temps dropped very fast once then wind came in. I had to defrost the mustache when I was done it was one solid stachecicle.

well worth the wait.

A small pose' showed up at Mahtomedi. It was weird rigging up 9ms when there was barely a hint of a breeze. We hung out an shot the Sh%t, Mike smoked a stoggie, then it hit. Kites that were facing the wrong way started to roll downwind, everything got loud and the snow slammed against the face.

Great ride in 5 to 8 inches of soft white. Everyone rode till it was very dark.

Great riding with everyone.

max, i will most likely not be going to white bear lake. If you want to, meet me at rice Lake or we can come up with a plan to maybe go to Bear or another lake for a few hours. I have a party to go to at 5, so thats why i wanna stay around rice and Baldwin. I built some really nice kickers out there today, two of em both about 5 or 6 feet. I saw lots of snowmobilers, too, one being kenny siina. I told him he had my permssion to ride the jump with his snowmobile once while i was shoveling it. he just plowed through it. ahahaha.

i hope no 'mobilers wrecked it over the night. that would suck.

do you want to meet me then at rice, or are you going to WBL???

i think i will just stick around home bro. Graham
