I was pretty and pleasantly surprised that Rossi would branch out to include snowkiting--a relatively small market.

Those are very cool - I'd like to get a pair myself, but I think it's worth noting that the harness seems to be designed as a climbing/mountaineering harness which is very different that a kiting one. Sure, you can kite in a climbing harness, and I've done that quite a bit, but it's nowhere near as comfortable as a purpose built kiting harness.

Not sure if he's still using it, but Alex Peterson used to kite with a climbing harness that he had modified by adding a lumbar pad from a Petzl industrial harness. Petzl makes a ton of climbing and industrial use harnesses, and I think the pad he had was from a window-washing model.

Anyway, cool find. I'm hoping I get to check those out sometime soon.

Take it easy,
John.

had this same Idea years ago ( as im sure some of u have being the crazy snowkiter community we are) ) espeisally when the Nitrous shorts came out! and was wanting to tell Dakine to do something with it but they know what snowkiting is and as Wings stated pretty small market .

Love the voices from afar...John on the east coast and Nathan in the Gorge. Good to hear from you guys.

I think the harness would have the strength, I'd be more concerned about the comfort factor. Then again the Nitrous shorts don't have much protection in there either.

Let me know what the rep says Nathan. Think it's a cool option.
