LOL, I know he makes them seem so easy I have been trying them all summer ,landing a few but noting clean ,, Dre is sick stylee and smooth ,just sick nice to see cabrina put some effort into wakestyle!!

Rob I am in Portland now but will be back to MN and the midwest, I am planning lots of riding on the great lakes , really looking forward to checking out Jeremys spot in Greenbay sound sick! and also going to be hitting up the U.P next fall and riding superoir from up there. Unfortanatly I wont be seeing u guys in SPI I just rebooked our tickets for the spring time, I am going in to some major knee surgery and knee rehab , so I have to chill for a while

Yea I hear ya , I have been wakeboarding on them for over 10 years now and you take the good with the bad , Ill just have to wear some knee braces now!

Bummer on the knee's, hope all goes well. I have been riding on rebuilt ACL's for years - lots of rehab and time on the bike put them back in good shape. Padre won't be the same with out the boys down there! Hopefully ride with you soon.

Was that the last session on the vid, cuz Dre let go of his unleashed bar and strangled his cameraman? This subject came up at Randy's. Noticed unhooked riders this year without leashes! I don't care if you want to wreck your own body, but don't endanger the rest of us by not using your leash. This isn't aimed at you, Nate, but hope the un-hooked riders will take note. thanks for letting me vent. WOOPS, I GOT MY FACTS WRONG. IT WAS A LEASH THAT FAILED, NOT RIDING UNLEASHED. SORRY, JIM N.

Jim the part im talking about starts @ 29:00 minutes into the video. the CLIP you are talking about is the last closing clip of the movie when the kite hits the water ..
where are you seeing unhooked riders not wearing leashes? in MN? or in VIDs ?
some riders will de-leash them selfs from the kite before attempting a gnarly rail that can eat you up . and most of the time they are filming and shooting with support around so its kinda a controled enviroment and everyone knows the risk involved , Just like that clip u speak of the filmer was Elloit Leboe nad he filming his friend and team mate so they know the situation,, I dought youll run into this in MN
I am pretty sure you are safe from danger and wont get hit by a kite

This is also why I like C kites with a 5th, line it totally depowers and kills the kite and you still get the below the bar safety guys like Dre and other bow riders cannot hook up safely below the bar , so the kite will still have some power that why they unleash before htting the rail .

WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT WAS @ REDDY CREEK? NO RAILS OR SLIDERS INVOLVED. LUCKILY THE KITE JUST FLEW ACROSS THE ROAD & LANDED IN A TREE..NO HARM NO FOUL...JUST LUCKY. I can understand if you have to let go on a dangerous obstacle. BTW it was the last video on the page. Dre just nailed a slider, landed & let go of the kite...

The leash was attached....Cabrinha's leash attachment is below the safety release, on the chicken loop....so, if the safety release activates/malfunctions....bye bye kite.
