Let me give you my cautionary statement about bellaire:
The downwind fetch (in case you break down while out in the middle after launching from bellaire) is approximately 1.5 miles! You could be out in that water for several hours if you have a breakdown. Whereas, at wildwood, the longest float in is going to be 20 minutes or so. Check google maps, and basically look up : http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=whi ... 3&t=h&z=18
all right! don't use bellaire, unless it's summer.

Sorry I didn't check back soon enough... I went to Belaire today and no one was there! I see why now. That is a really good point about the distance and time of being afloat if a breakdown happened. But I still sailed and had a good time... Until I got off the water and a cold front or something brought heavy snow, stronger winds, and I got icicles on my sail, boom, life jacket, wetsuit, and hoody! That was interestingly COLD!!! But the adrenaline rush is always worth it!
Take life to the EDGE!!!!

Can't afford one yet, I was just wearing a 4/3 longy! I wasn't really that cold, until I got off the water, but thanks to Chuck, I have new cold weather booties that kept my feet warm and toasty! I am still interested though Fred!
