Eye's on the Mother

Post by Stroh »

tomorow looks like it might happen...
NE WIND 15 TO 20 KT. SHOWERS AND SCATTERED
THUNDERSTORMS. WAVES 2 TO 4 FT.

I'm thinking about checking out Lester River... I watched the surfers there two days ago. the waves look great there and self launching looks doable. I would like to do a downwinder to canal Park Or park point... Jeff, you putin out fires tomorow???

Yea, the front came through and went flat then light south. I think Chris was the only one go get out. He started (windsurfing) with a 6.0, then 5.0 then 4.0. He was in rerigging to the 4.0 at 12:30 when I stopped by. I was going to go out about 2:00 - by then it was hitting 40 I would guess. I got squimish about going out by my self and then the rain started. By the time I had myself talked into it, the wind was dead...

It looked pretty darn big for such a short blow. The waves had built up pretty substantial...

Any comments Chris? Stroh did you get out at Lester?
