Hey Pete and Gustuser

Post by SeaBoo »

How's Pepin doing? I noticed today had some good south winds. I was wondering how that affects the waves and swells on the lake. Was it big? Where would have been the place to put on for these today? I stopped at Bay City this evening and there wasn't much for wind or waves there and I couldn't see any whitecaps out on the main lake from there. I wanted to run down to Lake City but I didn't have time. Thanks!! I'm thinking about finally trying all that older windsurfing equipment I have or maybe water kiting again.

No ice forminig yet Nora! he he he. When it is coming out of the South the best place to catch the wind is the rest area, 2 miles north of Lake City. Was it big today or yesterday? No. The waves and swell do kick up large though when the wind cooperates.

See ya Later Nora,

Thanks Pete! I am getting anxious for that ice to form. Meantime I've run out of that fast river water to play...at least until the fall storms. If you see we're going to get some big waves/swells on Pepin give me a holler...I'd like to throw on and see what happens :D
