big and bigger. Usually you need either a big kite or a very small kite. This weekend looks like the small version.

The link flies a little small. So a 12m is actually a small-ish/medium kite for MN. If you are a beginner though, I would suggest to get a kite other than the link. I love mine, but it can be a little finicky and you have to be used to it. Owning a high aspect ratio prototype C kite prior to the link kinda prepared me for all kinds of kites. haha!

My buddy Simon and I are both around the 150 mark, and we fly 12m TD's (1st generation). These cover us on all but the windiest of days (25+ knots). If you're on the heavier side, the 14m TD, T2 or T3 is a great choice (two other buddies use those).
