Ozone Factory

I thought this was kind of cool. I'd love to see the whole process from start to finish which this doesn't show, still it's interesting ( I think)

Avery. I fly the sports, the moderate aspect version of the instinct.

I've been trying to get an Edge for demo around here ( high aspect instinct) but there's been such a demand this year that none are yet being released to demo. They're just giving them to people who paid for them. It's a kite I think a lot of people will like around here. I was promised one in March and it's a little late.

The Sports have great range and glide, and are very stable. My favourite feature this year is the new tubes are so small I stopped bothering with the electric pump, it takes no time at all to pump up the kites.Silly benefit over the original design brief of faster, lighter, turny kite but pumpings part of it too.

Interesting foot note, Ozones going to a 2 year model cycle, no changes every year. They feel the gains made by annual updates are limited and they want more time to refine the models, they also think it'll help their customers by keeping used resale kite prices higher.
I'm still delighted with the kites.

08 Instinct Sports 9/13/15m 07 11m
Compared to the 07 you flew the 08s are a little faster flying and steering. A new bar which is very simple but effective. They have a little more glide in 08. A faster frame work which consists of small diameter LE and struts which they now run at a higher preassure ( 8 1/2 psi ) which makes the framework of the kite a little stiffer. They changed the wing tip shape a little which gives a faster steering response. The kites still power through turns rather than pivot so you have a constant power curve especially in the up and downturn( loops). Rather than the dead spot with little power while the kite pivots. But I think that's a feature most SLE/hybrids have compared to bows, ones not better than the other it's all personal preference.
I'm trying to think what else changed, a super little gizmo on the chicken loop you rotate if you have front line twist, it takes the twists out in a second. New Chicken loop release which is super simple and slick and can be reassembled very quickly, also a donkey dick which can be slid out of the way or removed if you ride unhooked a lot.
New graphics but still pretty simple.

Steve, do you still have your 08 BIG Frenzy? I got the 11m but I'm ready to buy the BIG one from you if you would like to sell it. I'm moving back to Sweden in about a month and would like it for this winter there. Shoot me a msg if you would be willing to part with it.

Uffe. Sorry to hear you're going home.
I can understand though, if I wasn't married to Nancy I'd be back in England, homes always home regardless were it is.
Ozones not changing the design of the Manta this winter so I get to hang on to the kite for a second season, so I won't be selling it till next fall.
If you want I can see if Brian has any demos he wants to sell, they have just finished their winter season. Drop me an e mail or a call.
