lake onalaska

has anyone kited lake onalaska, summer or winter? i am in la crosse for the next few months and am looking to kite, but not to drive.

If you can drive a little bit, Petenwell lake about 1 hour east of Lacross by Necedah is suppose to be good. Good launches and a lot of shallow sandy water.
