Larry Freeman

Post by champlin »

I don't know if everyone knew or not and I hope Larry does not get upset with me telling evryone but I just wanted to put this out there. Larry had open heart surgery Tuesday to replace a valve, the surgery went perfect and he is recoving most excellent. I personally owe Larry quite a bit for getting me a rider sponsor and supporting me as much as he has in the past and I personally want to say thank you Larry for the support and just being a great friend, if it was not for your kindness and generousity I wouldn't be riding right now, and I wish you a quick and full recovery!

can you let us know where he is at or when he'll be home? it would be nice to send him a summit to keep the blood thin.

GET WELL SOON!! Hope 2 c u back in action soon! JRN P.S: After all my friends disowned me for too many launch assists
on my trainer, Larry gave me a heckuva deal on a Windwing foil with a great innovation: a reverse relaunch bridle! I've
been hooked ever since.

I visited Larry today and he is recovering well after aortic valve replacement/open heart surgery (This is what Arnold had). He is expected to make a full recovery and will be back out there with us all in due time. He sends his gratitude.

My sister took a windsurfing lesson from Larry on Lake Harriet back in 1980 when Larry was still teaching and I learned on the Bic Wing my sister bought from him. I hope all goes well.

I also owe Larry a great deal, just for being a great guy. Yeah, he's a huge help to the to sport, but also he's got a fantastic attitude that transcends the sport and reinforces your belief in the good of mankind. Take care Larry and I hope to see you soon in the shop or better yet at the lake!

Have a speedy recovery Larry.

Way back long long time ago, Larry got me started in Freeskating. :)

Larry helped me get started in windsurfing and always had an encouraging word when I would complain about my lack of progress. Thanks Larry. I hope your recovery is quick. Look forward to seeing you soon at Waconia.
