TD bar depower rope replacement?
I was going to replace the depower rope on ashleigh's TD bar. Any particular rope needed? Looks like it is some kind of nylon rope? I was just going to go down to menards and try to match it up.
Actually what Chris posted up is spectra with a poly sheath. It's used more for really strong boating and tieing off rock climbing gear. It's really stiff and tuff, but it dosn't work in a cleat at all. I tried it. Order the real thing from Slingshot Bryce, it has a special end on it that fits perfectly into the bearing so you retain the swivel effect on the chicken loop. I know they sell that stuff by the rool from some of the bigger kite shops, like big winds or down in Padre, but they still woun't have that special end.

Toddboy's got it, Amsteel is fairly common if you know where to search.
Layline & Annapolis Performance Sailing have identical line. If you want the same parts from SS it might cost a pretty penny. Amsteel is cheap by the foot. Same stuff many OEM's use for leader lines too, smaller diameter.
