Most often the reds are softer for warmer weather, blue tends to be midrange (10-30) and silver/white for very cold. But, just check the softness of the waxes by sticking a fingernail in them....use the softest one you have for the warm wet stuff. I mean snow JRN!!

Nancy, steve has clearly rubbed off on you.

To make it easier you might want to consider a green all temperature wax and leave the sophisticated waxing to the hard core x-country ski folks. A good all temperature paste is also good for on the fly waxing.

While I have great pride and love for my windsurfing, kiteboarding, snowboarding, Tele skiing, bike riding active wife.
When it comes to waxing Nancy knows far more than I ever did, it's because her greatest passions cross country skiing, so types of and tempretures for waxes is something she could provide papers for us all to study.
This year she did her 18th Birkebeiner, she say's she's going to do 20 and stop, but I'll believe that when I see it.
So for waxing, she rubs of on me rather than me one her....OK Jim, opportunity of the year, get revenge for all my smart arsed comments!!.

Sooo many possibilities! How about: It's not the wax that is important, but the results. I just hate the pain when they rip off the tape, but it looks great along the bikini line! :D

STOP IT NOW!!! All the inuendo & doulbe entendre is starting to rub me the right, I mean the wrong way. To think it all started with some soft wax. If any of you see me hanging around with a sheepish grin on my face, just give me some waxing tips and send me on my way  JRN
