Card Printer?

Post by Hunter Welles »

I hate to ask this question, but does anybody have or have access to a card printer that could make me a school ID? I am going on a ski trip with my family over spring break, and if I have a high school ID I can get a student discount which is more than $30 a day off. The only problem is, my school doesn't give out IDs. I would be willing to pay somebody if they could help me out, unfortunately this is pretty short notice, I will be leaving Saturday.

If you can find a laminator to use just make a cheap one out of some matte photo paper and laminate it. The person checking probably isn't going to care to much. I still use my 2000 school ID to get discounts at the movie theater, they just give me a weird look but never say anything. My buddy used to make fake ID's for the states that still used laminated cards and they were good enough to get in bars.

"a friend" of mine used to do fakes too... there's lots of easy ways to do what you want with a laminator and card stock. everything you need is at office max, i'd think. he had a card printer for awhile for particular states that needed the PVC base, but they're expensive and slightly difficult to get a hold of. for a school ID you really just need lamination and not PVC though. it really stiffens the card up. and simple.

I have a laminator at our office if you need to use it. Just give me a heads up.
