Mike B and I are already in West Yellow Stone. We'll check outIsland park tomorrow, then head up to the Rodeo tomorrow night. We will probably be at Mount Haggin on Friday.

Just outside our door in West Yellowstone there is about 8-10 feet of snow with snow banks and drifts that are 15-20 feet tall. Hope you are getting some at home.

If you are heading out to the Rodeo and want to hook up or get directions, give me a call on my cell. 651 343 2469

We will send report after we hit Island Park, Idaho tommorow. I wish we could send some of this snow back home!

Denis and I had a great day at Island Park, Idaho. There was 5-8 feet of butter soft firm powder! The wind was 12-20. This place is huge! You can ride an area that is 5x9 miles. I even rode past a bull moose near the river.

Denis was going for big unhooked kite-loops and smooth spins on his 14 Rev. I was flying a 10 Frenzy and a 12 Manta. You could set an edge so hard in the firm powder that you would just shoot up when you send the kite. If you messed up - no problem - you would just create a 2 foot deep bomb crater in the deep soft pow.

This area gets a crazy amount snow! If you ever get a chance to ride there, don't pass it up. I can't wait to get back.

Off to Mt. Haggin tomorrow.

tell me about it... I had a a trip out there planned and brought my car in for an oil change before we left. Found out that basically every working part in my car is broke and that it would cost +3,000 to get it fixed. So i agree right now....life is not fair. Hope everyone made it out there and you all have an amazing trip.
