March 14th The family and I are heading off for Cabarete I would be interested to hear from those of you that have been there done that. Please tell me the got to do it stuff and the stuff we should try to avoid. Thanks Hutch

Hi Hutch,
You should have good wind in March, waters was choppy we were there. Food was on the beach and good; tap water is not safe. If your going kiting and are renting a board you have to go about 3/8 mile down the beach. On the downwind shore area of the kiting area--watch for rocks-don't get leg stuck in! Take a couple of inland tours; we did one up a jungle creek-it was great. Jag

in downtown cab there's a place called iguana mama that does adventure tours.... i'd highly recommend the cascading trip. it was pretty amazing.

there's a chance ill be there the same week, id be happy to show you a few things around town. but otherwise have a blast! that town is amzing
