mike is thinking of a race and a freestyle comp.

he is working on getting us discounted rates on the hotel on green lake.

I think mike needs another person to help orginize...

if you can help email him @ fleet-8@juno.com

That looks like it will be fun! Ashleigh and I are thinking of going. It will not only be a celebration of winterfest... but also a celebration of bryce... since that will be my birthday weekend.

Josh... you and lisa should come down for this!

I've always wondered about this lake for kiting. It is in my frequently traveled routes and have wondered why I don't see kiters. Nice lake, Melvins is an icon, there is a plane sunk in the lake (or was), and looks like a good kiting option for that neck of the woods. I was married in the Norwegian Stave!

Glad to read kiting made the events list for Winterfest. I'll try to make it but think I have a Vball tourney during the day and G'ma bday in Paynesville at night. If winds are up I may try to talk some family in going over on Sunday for a session if others will be out.

Hoping to make it if there's some wind in the forecast.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out and loudly proclaiming. WOW! What a ride!!
