OK I just read the story. I hope Terry is alright and pulls through..
Tighe you don't think this story is import to post as a "not suggested " story? I was thinking it was a non kite story. We all make mistakes and need to learn from ours and others. This is a prime example.

Update for his surgery...
He is getting surgery today at 4pm, and will be "out of it" for the rest of the evening. For those of you wanting to go see him, I would recomend waiting untill wednesday. Also he might be getting a second surgery in a week or two.
Thank you for all of the support, he really appreciates it.
Oh... and he now has a new room in the orthopedic area.

Man, just found out what happened, good luck on your surgery today man and I hope to see you back up and at it soon, all Caroline's and I's thoughts are with you man get better!
Hey Terry, I hope your surgery goes well today. I was hoping to stop by with Denis last night, but I got home from work too late. I heard the Z Man brought you flowers. That's sweet. I think the whole community is behind you and sending you good vibes and well wishes.
I think all of our best wishes go to Terry and hope he has a speedy recovery.
However, Nathen, I’m going to respectfully disagree with you. WE THE PEOPLE have this thing called the 1st amendment. As long as he/she is being truthful in what he is saying and not intentionally posting misleading information. He has every right to tell the story, and as far as I’m concerned should be told. We all can learn something from this. I read Jon’s story. From what I’ve seen there is nobody out there more a friend to Terry then Jon. I don’t agree with Tighe taking Jon’s story down for the same reasons; however, it is his website.

I went there and read the post. Not a lot of information there just the basics. The only thing I see he could be wrong about would be the injuries? Maybe you should make any corrections. It appears he just summarized Jon's post and put an opinion of his own. In which he is entitled to do.
