Oh, Baby!

Post by Mike W »

While you guys were playing in the wind over the last two days, I was putting in my time in the hospital maternity ward. Our new baby girl has arrived, and we couldn't be happier. Mom is doing so well I might even get out on Saturday.

Life is good!

All right Mike! Best wishes to the whole family.

Change a few diapers, sail/kite for a few hours, sounds like my kind of weekend (I have a 3yr old and 6 month old, unfortunately lots more diapers than sailing lately)

It has been a long time since my wife and I had a baby, but if I had to choose between sailing and having a baby, I am afraid the sailing would win out. Anyway, congrats.

Hey Mike,
I couldn't but help thinking of how much more sweet it was sailing Mille Lacs with my two boys on Thursday. Way to go and I can assure you, it's the greatest excuse to get out once you've got them sailing, "Honey, I need to spend more time with the boys...I think we'll do it at Izaty's today". Way to go...many years of happiness to you and your family. Randy

Thanks everyone! It has been 8 years since my first daughter was born, so it will be a bit of an adjustment getting back into the pattern of being up every couple of hours every night. I suppose it builds character though.
