Anyone ever kite at Crested Butte/Gunnison, Colorado?
I am heading there in a few days and was thinking of taking the ol' kites.
According to nordic maps Ive seen, it looks like there would be some good, wide open areas to kite just outside of the town of Crested Butte.
I have also heard that the reservoir just west of Gunnison is good for windsurfing in the water, but don't hear much about winter kiting.
I'll be too far from Dillon to make it up there.
