Has anybody had a chance to check out the lakes this morning with all the rain we got last night?

It really ruined Cedar, the surface was close to perfect, now it's wet slush which will be bumping as hell when it freezes.

Excuse me I have to go beat my head against a wall :x

Pretty much the same @ Bellaire :x Avery was just folding up his yarga
& said it was REALLY sticky wet slush beneath the surface. Gonna wait 'til mid-afternoon to see if it firms up. How about Dry-Suits and snow tubes?

Wahkon bay is totally white --- you have to dig to find a layer of wet snow just above the ice surface. I'll give it a try this afternoon.

Swede was in decent shape. Some icy spots, some slushy spots, but plenty of good place to tear it up. Nice turn out today. Can't wait to see Ben's pictures.

Spring lake looked decent at first glance. I was a ice ball by noon as my old mosquito would only go fast or nothing. Flat light so I couldn't see the drifts and ripped my ski off a couple of times. Shoulda boarded as I couldn't have gotten any wetter/frozen. Somehow the rain left the snow but settled between the ice and snow; good snow on the NW half.

Damm UPS couldn't get my Manta here b4 I left

You all enjoy the ripping wind I left behind for a week
ENJOY :) ........... Bill
