Wondering if anyone has any experience on Jimmy Lewis Model 3 boards. I have been told they are excellent in chop and a increadable ride but a different type of ride.

Thats what I was hoping to find out myself, I have been shopping for a board to fit in-between my Nobile 666 132 and the big SPleene door. I love both boards but I want something in the middle that performs excellent in the chop.
I have been referred to both OC Mako and JL Mod 3 as options. I was told the JL has more volume built in the board and rides different than the standard twin tips but couldnt get a feel for what that meant.
So far from what I have been hearing for chop the ideal boards cold consist of
more rounding of the edges
Tips round in and not sqaured off
Narrow than the wider styles
Concaved bottom
Im looking for something in the 138-144 length so if anyone has recomendations let them fly

The Model 3 has much greater rocker then any other board than I have been on. Very fun in the chop, and I would assume they would be great in the surf. (I'm not a surf guy) The only problem I had with mine was the upwind ability, having a large rocker, and soft round rails made it more difficult to go up wind.
