sad day at waconia

Post by john mooney »

An 18 year old boy drowned out here last night, body still not recovered. A group of kids were paddling out to the Island and back and he seperated from them and drowned. When you think what we do out here on 30 kt. days it s hard to believe this happens. Each day is a gift! On a lighter note... the road should open wed 13th, fresh asphalt for the weekend rollerblading. Ihad my last session last weeek on waconia last week and it was sweet. A nice way to close down 12 years of fun in the sun. I enjoyed hanging with all you knarly dudes and sharing the wind out here. I will look for you at the gorge! MOONDOG

2 bad bits of news. I'll say a prayer for the survivors and goodbye to you.

For now...
