Could be Big Winds tomorrow - Especially Mille Lacs

The 10 Day MRF looks real good, especially up north tomorrow. Should be a nice northwest wind. Best winds will probably be morning.

NOAA is only saying 10-15 all over state but they'll figure it out sooner or later. I'm hoping to get to Father Hennepin if I can get some work meetings "modified".

superior/port wing will be hard to pass up but I think father hennipen is a more reasonable choice for kiting with predicted winds and a much shorter drive. If forecast holds I hope to head out around 7am.

Malmo actually works great for a NW as well. If your uncomfortable in the deep water at FH, try Malmo. I'll hope to be out there around 4 PM, after work, or maybe earlier  . I really love the waves that point up while heading to the right. Great for unhooked tricks. Hope to see someone there.

There will be 2 Canadians up this weekend to Mille Lacs. Tbayray and 11 year old son Daniel. Hope to see otherwindsurfers and kiters there. If ya got kids and they sail or kite bring them too. We will be arrivin by noon Friday and hope to sail. Staying for the weekend at Garrison Inn and off Sunday afternoon. Since he can't come to the Crossing this year I figure I would bring him up so he can sail the big lake. lets pray for good wind. If you wish to email me ,great.

See ya soon.....tbayray & Daniel :D :D

At one time, a lost Canadian windsurfer who came to Minnesota to compete in regattas. Can be found sailing on a lake in Canada known as "Superior". From Thunder Bay, Ontario known as "tbayray to some Minnesota sailors thanks to Mike Fox.
