Duluth again?
Looks like Mother could offer up some more beautiful terrain later today and/or tomorrow.

possibly a couple of weeks maybe a month. Terry D. took a look at it up at Malmo and really was helpful helping me understand what was going on in there (thanks Terry). Sounds like a sprained my cruciate ligaments. It seems to be getting better and better, but I don't want to push it. He suggested not going back out till I have full range of motion back.
Gotta tell you I was pretty scared after it happened. The knee is probably one of the most valuable joints in our body. Don't want to do anything that might make the time off the water longer.....and Padre is only a few months away.

Stroh, Probably won't go until tomorrow. Looks like they're amping the forecast up from the previous 10-15knots. I'll keep you posted if you want to car pool.
Tighe, I've been there. Shortly after I snapped my Achilles I recall reading a post, got excited and then.... damn. Anyway, I've got a lot of friends who didn't have the patience you're showing and they've now got major complications keeping them off the water. Seems our injuries and how we deal with them are our greatest 'ride/life' teachers.

Great!
Where have you been? I been missin' you the past few sessions. Looked like this afternoon was all over the place...up and down. Anybody get out?
Trying to predict Mother is pretty much impossible, but current models seem to be showing best wind between 1 and 4pm tomorrow. Given a long stretch of NE fetch, the waves should be a lot bigger than we've seen in the past few sessions. Fingers crossed.

I've been in my front yard all day working on my deck.. (which is taking a lot more time than I predicted). In any case, you haven't missed it yet, been blowing between 15 and 20 maybe. Real variable... it even went SE for a while. Feels like its starting to set up for a blow now though.. I think it will be good tomorrow. Good kiting weather, upper 20's maybe low 30's.
Speaking of joints - I'm still a bit sore from a few weeks ago. Not sure I should venture out if it does blow. Trying to save my hip for another six months. I want to get my kids skiing out west at least one time before I'm off the boards for good with a new hip.

Judd and I should be at 22nd st by around 11.
Chip, hope you can drop by. Bummed to hear about your hip. As Chris says, it just ain't quite the same without you on the water. Anyway, today doesn't look like it's going to meet your 30mph minimum. Chris, hopin' there's enough wind for some good windsurfing with you and some of the other Duluth posse we've been missing.

The sweet mother produced as usual. What a turn out from the cities. Don't people have jobs? I'll leave anly eloquent summerizing of the day to those with writing talents. Here a few typical gray-drab shots of mine- but catches some of the action. Learning to use my camera is still on my to-do-list and NOT on the honey-do-list so I guess it will have to wait. On my defense it was quite overcast in Duluth today.
