Da Bear Mon

Looks like there should be a nice SSE wind Mon. I am thinking of hitting up the bear around noon/1pm hopefully.
Anyone else heading out?

D'Bear A-wakes

Stopped by early afternoon ..no wind, but after 5:30 it really turned on! Randy, Denis, Jordy & I rode 'til the storms blew in. It filled in after I had pumped my 16 so... Went to self launch, didn't weight the LE with water, and it went up before my lines were taut. Boosted out of the water while snapping my board leash. Hadn't had a near kitemare in some time, but it was a vivid reminder to err on the side of caution. After that the session was stellar, especially after getiing skunked last weekend. Wild looking skies added to the atmosphere until thunder and the first bolt of lightning put an end to it. JRN
