I had a lot of fun today with Nathan and Matt out at swede lake. Here a few photos that I have had time to edit. I'll throw a bunch more as I have time tonight.

One of my favorites is actually of Nathan giving a lesson to Corey. The gradiant lighting is cool.

I actually don't use any filter with that lens. Its a tokina 12-24 f/4 lens and you need to use a super thin filter if you use one. This has to do with it being superwide and the front element being protruding out a bit. The filters are not all that cheap for the 77m size and I tend to break my thin filters.

They do look like I had a CRL polarizer on it, but thats just the effect the lens gives in the late day lighting.

Matt has a ton of style and makes it easy to shoot on my part. A lot of riders don't look at the camera. He does and makes it looks so effortless. I hope my riding get to that level eventually.

Its crazy how fast the winter went. I was out at swede again today and the snow is just soup. If anybody has contacts at any place that would want to use any of my photos, please forward them to me.

P.S. Matt....Nathan has your photo CD from yesterdays session. Should be able to blow up to 24"x36" comfortably, if you want larger let me know and I'll work my magic so it will look nice.

No clue how submitting photos works, but here is just standard contact info for a couple of kite mags:

The Kiteboarder

Editorial/Photo submissions: Ryan Riccitelli ryan@thekiteboarder.com

kiteboarding

editor@kiteboardingmag.com

Not sure if you need to pull strings to get somewhere with these mags. The editor for kiteboarding is Aaron Sales who has rolled thru town at least once, I met him at a Kitefreeze a couple years ago (what a great event!)... seemed like a really cool guy. Someone on this site has to know him well enuf to at least get a response!
