Anyone planning on hitting White Bear this afternoon?
I will try to get a ride in starting around 2:30-3:00. Ramsey is favored at the moment, but Bellaire will be nice if the wind shifts east as expected.
White Bear today?

I have a job...oh and kids too...and a wife. Does that count as three strikes? After I get done with my job, and put the kids to bed, and make sure the wife is happy I'm gonna try and get out late for a kite nite.
Will probably launch from Bellaire but I'm thinking of riding down to the West end near the marina since the flood lights may light up the surface a bit better.....ETA 9:30-10:00. Have headlamp will ride.

Bellaire was good! Snuck out for a 130 to 300 session. Winds were 15 to 20 and building as I left at 3pm. Lots of ruts to get past though. Met up with Mike W who had a couple of new cabrinhas. He is a true a kite jockey and is determined to ride, own and then sell every kite out there and never buy a new one. Per usual he was boosting large on his newly acquired 12 x-bow then switched over to a 7 x-bow seamlessly with no difference in jumping altitude. But, I have to say Mike, I've never seen you boost as large as when you were on my 10 bularoo. I love that kite! Jim N was practicing body drags on his foils again. Jim for goodness sakes put up one of your inflatables! Jerry was there wishing he'd bought a smaller kite. Jeff was getting ready as I left. A couple others getting some rides. I suspect more on the way but back to work for me.
