It's a tough direction. Calhoun might work but the wind has to go over the city before hitting the lake.

I just checked, Cannon has a higher forecast and works great on NE from the park on the South side. They also got a fair bit more snow down there.

I think I may head down there tomorrow.

Simon,

Call me tomorrow. I think Ryan and I will go with you after 12. We should try out Rice Lake or Centerville Lake. Rice Lake looks best for the NE wind.

I might be up for Calhoun if anyone is up for kiting into the evening (from dusk on) as the wind continues to build. Any takers / thoughts?

It is good on a NE @ Bellaire...just go east into the bay towards Tally's.
Hope I can get out, too! C U/ H2O JN

Got to Bellaire with Ryan and Travis around 4pm, pretty low wind, spotty at best, but did get some riding in so not to bad all in all. definitely not as good as forecasted though. hope others had better luck elsewhere.

Calhoun faded right around the time I got really hungry. Great to meet some more new faces. Thanks for the help.
