To the person looking for old ski boots, if you haven't already, try Play It Again Sports. I think they have several locations in the cities and you may need to try several. Try calling first to see if they may have your size in stock. It may be tough now that there's snow on the ground.

Another good place to look for used skis and boots is http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/
There are numerous ski swaps during the year but usually they take place in the late fall. Sometimes some of the shops will have their demo gear for sale at the end of the year.

Another cool website similar to craigslist is http://www.twincitiesfreemarket.org/ Was able to pick up an old pair of skis that will serve their purpose.
