Monday morning looks like we might be able to sneak a short session as the system departs from the area. What's the closest safe ice? Waconia? Swede?? WBL?
WBL had 7 to 8 inches of Ice on Saturday so I think it would still be plenty safe. Ice fisherman will be out to confirm. I have to work at 0800 but got my alarm set for 0400 to grab an early morning session at como park picnic fields. I rode there this evening. Just barely enough space to kite. The field is largely lit with park lights so you can see fine in the dark. Funky wind coming over the trees and hill though.

Bush lake should still have plenty of ice. I drove past tonight, and when there are clouds in the sky, the bright lights from highland ski slopes reflect and light up the entire lake, so night riding should be a lot of fun there.
Tighe you know the best wind will be on the wack. if I was in town I'd be there.... kinda mad that I'm not there when we finaly got some snow. hopefully it wont melt by later this week. spots in ND got 16inches... road trip this weekend
Most of the lakes are slush. Your going to have to find a field to ride in today. Theres plenty of them between swede and lake washington just drive untill you see one that looks right.
Not slush, but the surface is frozen hard/round bumps Might be smoothish using skiis or other long edges. There was open water near shore and a big gaping pool off a spit on the beach.
