OK.. Wuz out 10 am - 1 pm bellaire; ice is siiiiicckk smoothe, (with ruffled areas) but totally skateable all over. Wind good with Sabre 9.5, but uneven, I'd say 7 - 14 NNW. Jason is going out, kurt also as well.. Kurt bring yr skates!

Was good on WBL today. Saw someone with a blue/pink kite out at Bellaire. I was afraid to cross the pressure ridges, so I stuck with the speed runs between The island and peninsula.

It *was* sick smooth in many places, with only little bumps in others. Managed 42mph on a 12m Octane and skates. Kinda' wishing I had put up the 16m, it wasn't that windy.

Hopefully I'll see some of you guys out this week now that I have new skates. :-) It was lonely in the northern part of the lake without anyone else around...
