WBL: Bellaire or Ramsey

Post by Barry P »

ESE/E

For those of us stuck in the cities are any of the others lakes a better call for E/ESE winds?

I'm thinking Bellaire.

I like Ramsey for E, especially with a S slant. Bellaire is okay if it's full-on E, but if it moves S at all, Bellaire is shadowed.

Sadly, I can't get out today, though :-(.

Kevin O is saying Ramsey too. I'm going to head over around 2.

White Bear in a wetsuit?

Post by Luke »

Back in town visiting and hoping to score a session with the White Bear crew.

Is WBL warm enough for wetsuits yet, or still drysuits?

Hope to see you at Ramsey!

If the air temp is warm enough, I think WBL is okay for wet suits. My wife and daughter were sailing in wet suits two weekends ago and were comfortable. If the air temp is cold, I would only go in a dry suit.
