Demo Day at the Wac

Post by Tighe »

Come out and check out some of the new SS gear. Chris Shy, Slingshot's tech rep will be on hand to introduce you to the new Link, the New SXs and the new Misfits.

Looks like a great fall session is shapping up.

Chris, Tighe, Nathan,
Thanks for letting me fly the Link, that's the best kite ive ever flown hands down. I have been on C's forever because i love the power and dont mind being thrown around a little. That Link is a great compromise and the first kite I like more than my trusty 01 rihno :), definitely my next purchase. I've been working like a dog this summer so i havent been on the water that much. I check the site all day long looking for pics and reading about superior runs, and i will admit to cursing you while at my desk. Only kidding, im really stoked to see you guys rippen the big waves, cant wait to get up there. Chris nice meeting you, thanks again for a killer sunday ride!

Nice day at the Wac... no swimmers, only one boat?

Being mostly a windsurfer, I kind of questioned the wisdom of kiting on a day like this... strongish gusts but overall great wind.

As a "differently abled" (aka hacker!) kiter who hasn't had much luck kiting the Wac, staying clear of other kiters was probably my biggest challenge. I think a bow kite was key to my survival!

But nonetheless my best day kiting at the Wac fer shur!

Many thanks to Tighe, Scott, Nathan, Dave, Tom and everyone else who showed up to make this a great day! :D

kite fiesta

definitely a fitting end to four unbelievable days of simply bottomless, hardcore blasting. Thanks again to slingshot for being virtually the only company that shows up here let us play with their stuff. Thanks also to everybody that makes it an awesome "kite club" around these parts.
