The main feature, is you can kite without wind. Still looks like a cheap thrill compared to the real thing.

Todd Hanson was doing the same thing behind an ATV on Milly at the NASJ, last winter.

yea not my cup of tea id rather, kite or wakeboard ,these guys in the vid cant ride either pretty kooky.
kool concept though still will be fun to mess around with in no wind with our kites good thinking todd.

also, sorry I didnt get to waconia last friday, the winds looked too lowand didnt bother coming out. I'm now in fargo and won't be home for a while to get that bladder, could I send you money to ship it? or should I have a friend pick it up?

The Wake kite version of this concept is kinda kooky, it's like your hanging on a telephone wire. Can't see the kite, can't spin! where's the fun in that?
Our version uses a regular 4 liner that you fly and send like a normal kite.
The feel is the same as wakeboarding at a cable park.
You don't have to wear a harness,and the steering is super light.
This is just a fun no wind alternative to regular kiteboarding.

so ... you just hook a 4 line kite (how big?) up to a pulley bar or what? i wanna try this kite+wakeboard dealy, but i agree, that video looked stupid

The bridal that connects the tow line to the kite is fairly complex.
I spent a considerable amount of time on this last winter and barely scratched the surface. We found that an 8m med ar works the best.
It's real easy on the ice but I would not try it on the water just yet.

this looks too much like kiteboarding! people are gunna get hurt (remember the kitetube) and due to it's very close resemblence it gunna shut down kiteBOARDING somewhere.
