Who's got major cajones?

Post by Coach »

You'll need them for this trip, because they might shrink in the cold water!

Who's up for a trip to Duluth Friday? NE 15-25, and things have been pretty slow around here. I'm thinking it might be a total riot to check out some of the wave spots, like Stony, Lester, or French.

Kiting, windsurfing, whatever... who's up for it?

I got some. But, cant decide if I should bring them or not, So it sounds like we are in the same boat.
Besides, I usually leave my dry suit relief valve open anyway .

Thinking About It

Post by Randy »

Hey Mark,
It's looking good. Our band plays tonight at Washington Square, so part of it depends on how worked we get. But a session off Lester Park sounds good. Let's talk tomorrow.

hmmm... the wave height forecast, and the windcast, are now looking a little sketchy for tomorrow. What do you think, Randy?

Not quite sure yet if it's worth the drive, but I'm going to be at the ready - just in case.

Yea, I'll never drive to Duluth until it's actually blowing. Let's just see how it looks tomorrow. Given the cold water, I hope you're thinking windsurfing and not kiting. Randy

I was thinking of both, but I'll probably end up windsurfing. :-)

Looking good!

Looking sunny and 6M and temps in the low 40's, so I'm thinking to go for it. The only reason I mentioned I'd prefer windsurfing to kiting was because the harbor's iced in and the buddy system from Lester River's a lot more important given the long potential float. My cell is 612-590-0970.. I'm thinking of leaving around 10:30 if it keeps building.
