I'm thinking of heading up to Malmo, although I haven't decided whether to head out of work early tommorow, or to do it over an already busy weekend. The forecast is leaning to NNW winds, is Malmo decent in this direction?

after doing a little checking wouldn't Father Hennepin be a better place with that wind direction? I may have off from work tomorrow. If so I'd love to go. I'll know within the hour.

looks like North wind between 7 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph

Missing Wind

Post by JRN »

Eric, Terry & I attempted riding Malmo this afternoon. You didn't miss antything! We all were able to get in some short down -wind runs, but it was so light that the kites were hard to keep airbourne. Looks like some marginal breezes by Sat. Have to watch the forecasts. JN
