Washington ROCKED today (lil gusty maybe, but let us not split hairs). There was a huge family reunion, but Jay C. rapped with 'em and made peace.

Jay ran around telling all wind types to park out of the way and keep a low profile (don't crank Kiss Alive on the car stereo, avoid breaking excessive amounts of beer bottles, etc.) as to not upset the 30th Annual Verbeck Family Fun Fest. It's the most sociable I've ever seen Jay.

Seriously, that was a good idea, we are on the Dassel Rod & Gun Club's turf and etiquette is probably a very good thing.

So thanks to Jay and the generally amicable nature of the wind tribe I think we were just one big happy family. In fact, the Verbeck's didn't display the slightest bit of dysfunction (in contrast to the wind tribe)... maybe they can adopt me!

acttually you are suppossed to Buy a seasons pass with the dassel rod and gun club you buy the pass from rons amaco or the lady in the house right next door the take care of the place if you have your pass being there during that reunoin is a none issue. Iride whashington every day its windy , the lady who runs the place loves the kiters so if you are going to ride there you should actually Buy a season pass and not actually worry about some lady who has her family reunion wich was a none issue.
BIG THANKS TO TERRY THE FISH MASTER who i hear fed everone around some fish and chips i was on the water until dark so he saved me a nice pile, that was bomb terry thanks bro!

The season pass is only 15 bucks and does maintain the grounds of (drag)dassel rod and gun club. The dues help keep a great kiting/windsurfing access (open) for future funhoggin.

Today(Sun.) might offer rides there this afternoon if exp. is accurate. Any East in direction might be gusty. S-SW-W winds work best for (drag)

NW-N-NE-E winds are better across lake from Ellsworth landing. See lakes section for directions.
