Anyone sailing White Bear tomorrow on the SW wind that is brewing. I'd like to get some time on the water but I have limited time. Is Ramsey sailable on a SW or does Bellaire make more sense even though it is off shore? Or is there going to be too many motors on the lake to make it worth while?
Any advice?

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. But It rocks absolutely, too.

SW can be one of the worst directions for WBL. It also depends upon how much South or West is in the wind direction.
SSW - Ramsey's your best bet...but tomorrow you better stake your claim to a parking spot since it will be an absolute zoo. Also, to get clean wind you may have to sail over to the yacht club. You could also sail out of Mahtomedi beach but again SW is not a favorable direction.
Bellaire you would want a lot of West. It will probably be calm and off shore at Bellaire tomorrow given what the forecasts are calling for.
I may have to sail WBL tomorrow to since time is limited...otherwise I'd be hauling arse to Mille

So Josh is there already. He and another guy are sittin around waiting for the wind. There's not a whole lot yet, but it looks like it will work. It's spilling over the island, so I expect it'll be gusty and Josh says it'll take about 5 mph off the wind speed, but that's okay with me. I think if you can get over to the east side you'll enjoy the effect of the gap. Sorry Calhoun, maybe another time.
