Still some ice down here in Des Moines, but melting fast. We had open water a few weeks back but it froze over again. Warm temps and rain may open up the lakes as soon as this weekend. I'll post again when I can check it out.

Stroh..dude, go to iowa and then .....just keep going all the way to Padre.

Forcast for saturday is 54 and breezy. Hopefully the ice has melted. I'll check on it in the next day or so and let ya know :D

I have my tickets for South Padre. Arrive on April 7th and leave on April 16th with a wicked tan and new tricks. :twisted:

Open water At Salorville

Iowa Report........
Checked out the Lake this evening..........
There is Still some ice on the north part of the lake.........
But everything South of Sandpiper and the Marina are open.........
Oak Grove is a good Launch.........
Water temp's close to 32 Degrees....... But warming.......
Hope too see any one that need's a fix........
