Several of us took the morning shift at WBL for some speed runs. Joe L. had just clocked a run in the low 60's when I arrived. Kurt and Levi were getting their smallest stuff dialed in. I clocked a run in the low 50's with my 8m X4-- I think I need some 220cm skis to do much better. John Z. was just going out when I left. Joe returned for another run.
How did it end up? Anyone get in the upper 60's?

Good clean fun today with the nukin' conditions.
Joe, the speed demon, Levins posted big in the pre 10am session with 65.8mph. I tried to put the heat on but only came to 65.3mph with the 10m Wip. We stayed out for a couple hours in the afternoon until the legs could no longer obey simple commands. 15 blurry seconds down the bay - 15 thigh busting minutes up the bay - repeat.
Hopefully tomorrow, I'll feel like walking again:)

Nice work John and Joe! I got out for about 6 decent speed runs during lunch before I had to head back into the office. Managed to clock only 54.8. But, not bad considering I kept outpacing my overpowered and rather slow low-aspect 12m kite. Would have loved to try it on something higher aspect and a little smaller.
I was using 183cm Atomic Sugar Daddy's for boards. They held up surprisingly well for a pow-pow ski!
