Costa Rica - 1st week in Feb.

Hi all,

Thinking about a trip to Lake Arenal to escape the cold. I know some of you have been there before. The destination part of this forum is a bit dated. Where are the better places to stay for equipment rental and after hours entertainment? I know this will not be party town like Cabarete, but I'll gladly trade that for some good wind. Thanks.

I know of a pretty nice place up the mountain from the lake...on the northeast side i want to say. Stayed there last year. Was just built abut 2 years ago and has a great view of volcano. Maybe a 5-10 min drive to the shore. I'll get back to you asap with the name of the place. Need to dig out some old travel stuff to remember.

(Wet bar with a hot tub..what more can ya want after a day of riding wind?)
