Hey Everyone:
I was catching up on the bow kite conversations earlier today. Actually, there are FIVE riders with both C and Bow kites.
As the Midwest Representative for Cabrinha and Ozone, I've rode 'em all. I have sample kites in my garage that would thrill a museum: Black Tips before they were Nitro's, CO2's before they were Revolvers, Access's that used to be CO2's, the short-lived but furious Contra, and even a Sonic (if you don't know that kite, well you don't know kites).
I have added two crossbows and a switchblade to the pile. And I can now state, with undisputable, irrefutable, undeniable authority that the difference between bows and C's is that, while I may not be very proficient on the C kites, I am EQUALLY non-proficient on the bows.
Best wishes to all for a safe and happy holiday season. I look forward to an even better new year, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in our sport.

Hey ET,
Can you get me a couple of the 23cm CL's for the CB/SB. Having a hard time getting them, or should I maybe try the NP store in Maui? 23cm is the smallest ...right?
Incidently, I searched for all your posts under your handle "ET", trying to locate your email address, and all your posts appear to have been deleted. What's up with that?

It's a glitch. His reply to a post a last week is still there and that is the one with the email address. Not sure why the search function doesn't work though. things that make you go hmm.

There is a thread on KF where a guy went 47 - 48 knots max using a 9m Crossbow in 20 - 28 knot winds...on water. He was using a custom asym board.
