Turtle Lake Saturday?

Post by Mike W »

I just talked with Chris B. (who is on the mend from a near death experience, possibly caused by ingesting water at Cannon) and we thought about hitting Turtle Lake in Shoreview tomorrow afternoon. I have kited there a few times, and it is not bad on a NW. The lake is small and shallow, so ice thickness should not be an issue.

Any takers? Other suggestions for east siders?

Count me in where ever the eastsiders decide to go. I may need directions for Turtle, I've never been there. Thanks.

I am thinking either Turtle or Wildwood Bay at WBL. The wind at Wildwood will be smoother, but the ice at Turtle will be thicker, I am sure. I will check back here around lunch time to see what others are thinking. I should be good to go by early afternoon.
