Waconia Ice Report

The ice is starting to get better. I've checked it daily for a week and it is now 3 - 3 1/2 inches. Thanks to the blanet of light fluffy snow It's taking longer to thicken. I would say it would be safe with caution. Just my two cents.

the ice is great terry and I had a great session out there yesterday :D
I plan on going there today as well
Big lake = smoth wind
I hope to see some others out there today :wink:

Jon, Thanks for the ice report. Is the ice smooth enough for iceskates or freeskates, or is there snow on it?
I'll probably head out to Washington today, I think there's a nice layer of snow, but if it gets too windy for my kites, a small sail and freeskate on Wac would be sweet. Maybe I'll see you there.
