Tuesday Session?

Post by Mike W »

Looks like there might be enough of a breeze to make it happen today. Anyone going out anywhere. I would think Swede is good to go.

How about Marion? Where is the launch? Ok for West?

I am planning on going out around 1pm.
marion would work great for a west wind but only about an inch of snow cover so edgeing might be a problem. the launch is the beach on the east side of the lake. with the temps last night the minimum ice has to be 3inches :D
I was thinking of dooing cottage grove agin it has been great the last two days. there is about 4-5 inches of carveable powder. well it's getting kinda tracked out but still great snow :D
sweed is a litle to far for me. let me know where you decide. :?:

I don't want to drive all the way to Swede either. It is hard for me to get excited about Cottage Grove with school in session and all of the obstacles. Crusty ice on Marion sounds good to me.

Hey Mike,

I'm up for a ride today! Is Lake Marion in Lakeville? I'll try to find it if that is the call.

Spent last weekend at Skyline, UT for the Ozone Freeride. Brian, Heather, Emily and the Ozone crew were outstanding and perfect hosts. The New York Times sent out a reporter for the entire weekend. He said an article would be in the Times on a Friday in two weeks. I asked what percentage chance his article would be in the paper and he said 100%!! Should be interesting.

Hey, Chuck! Nice to hear from you again. Let's give Marion a try today. I think I will shoot for noon.

Stroh, thanks for the map. What is the best exit from 35?
