Tighe,

My browser doesn't show the picture, although if I paste the underlying URL into the address bar the picture shows up. Also the image in the upper left corner of the chat window hasn't shown up for months (the index.php) image link. Is this a problem with my browser settings?

Anyone else not seeing the Horse Surfing picture?

Sweet!

Pretty neat. People have done things like that before. But, usually it's with a car, motorcyle, or something else...

Do you think the horse was really going 40mph, though? Not that the horse couldn't do that speed, but it would be awfully fast to board at!

I always thought it might be fun to have a a raised wheel similar to the ends of the chairlifts, that rotated horizontally. Then have numerous tow ropes coming off of the hub. And just like cracking the whip as kids on ice skates, the rotation would be the pull. How close or how far you were from the center would determine your speed. The only problem is you have that nasty motor running. How about doing it on a river and putting a turbine down under the ice for power?
